The best way to visit Versailles Palace: at your own pace.

You will be able to take the time to enjoy your day. Start with the visit to the castle the King’s apartment, the Queen’s chamber and the hall of mirrors. 
Once you're inside, start with a visit to the King's Apartment. This is where Louis XIV lived and ruled, and it's full of lavish rooms and decorations. Be sure to see the Hall of Mirrors, which is one of the most famous rooms in the palace.

After that, you can visit the Queen's Apartment. This is where Marie Antoinette lived, and it's a bit more intimate than the King's Apartment. You can also visit the Trianon Palaces, which were built for Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette as a place to escape the hustle and bustle of Versailles.

If you have time, be sure to explore the Gardens of Versailles. They are vast and beautiful, and there are plenty of things to see and do, such as taking a boat ride on the Grand Canal or visiting the Petit Trianon.
